Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
This policy applies to everything you do on PSL Rating (https://pslrating.me, "we", "us") and sits alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. PSL Rating is a service for adults aged 18 and over. It produces AI estimates of face photos and AI-generated illustrations of grooming changes, using Google Gemini and Google Nano Banana through kie.ai. By using the service you agree to follow this policy.
1. Scope
This policy covers every kind of content the service handles, whether you supply it or the AI produces it.
- Photos you upload: front and side face photos.
- Generated images: the AI style previews (hair, glasses, facial hair, brows, skin), including files you download and share cards.
- Text: the AI-written rating, comments and suggestions, and anything you send us by email.
- Instructions: the service builds every AI instruction itself on our server. You cannot type a free-text prompt, but the photo you upload is also an input and is covered here.
2. Content Standards & Prohibited Categories
We prohibit the following six categories of content. They apply to photos you upload and to anything the service generates for you.
- Sexual / NSFW content. No nude, sexually explicit or sexualised images, and no attempt to make a preview produce them.
- Violence / gore. No graphic violence, injury, gore, weapons aimed at people, or content that glorifies harm.
- Hate speech. No content that attacks, demeans or threatens a person or group because of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, and no use of ratings or previews to harass, bully or shame anyone.
- CSAM or unsafe content involving minors. No sexual content involving anyone under 18, and no photo of a minor for any purpose. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18 or try to get around the age check.
- Deepfakes and impersonation of real people. Do not use the service to impersonate a real person, to create misleading images of someone, or to pass a preview off as a real photo. Do not remove the "AI-generated preview" label or the "AI preview" mark from downloads.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Do not upload photos, logos or other material you do not have the right to use, and do not use the service to copy someone else's work or brand.
2.1 Absolutely prohibited: zero tolerance
We act on the following immediately and may report it to the authorities.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism or mass violence.
- Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.
2.2 Rules specific to this service
These rules follow from what the service is.
- Upload only photos of yourself. Another adult's photo is allowed only with their clear permission.
- You must be 18 or older and confirm it before every rating and every preview.
- Do not upload photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures, and do not use previews for political or commercial endorsement.
- Do not use bots or scripts, rotate devices or accounts to collect free ratings, jailbreak or probe the service, or overload it.
3. Content Moderation
We combine automated checks, human review and periodic audits. No check is perfect, so automated checks can make mistakes in both directions.
3.1 Automated review
Every request passes these automated steps.
- Upload: an AI age check (Google Gemini) runs on every photo, and photos that look under 18 or whose age cannot be confirmed are refused. A face check in your browser requires a single clear face.
- Instructions: the instruction for each preview is fixed on our server from the report. We do not accept free-text prompts, so a user cannot steer the image model toward prohibited content.
- Output: after a preview is generated and before you see it, Google Gemini checks the image for nudity, violence, minors and anything that is not a single adult portrait. A failed image is discarded and not charged.
- Usage limits: we limit usage per account, device and IP address (stored as salted hashes).
3.2 Human review
Content that is reported to us is reviewed by a person, and so is any automated block that a user disputes. Because we do not store photos or generated images, we review the report details, the account and records involved, and any material the reporter sends us.
3.3 Periodic audits
We periodically review user reports and appeals, together with our short-lived server logs of safety-check results (category and time, never images), and adjust the checks when we find errors.
3.4 Severity levels
Reports are triaged into four levels.
| Level | Description | Review | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| L1 Critical | Child safety, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, genocide, non-consensual sexual deepfakes | Automatic block where detectable, and human review | Immediate permanent suspension and report to authorities |
| L2 High | Nudity, graphic violence, impersonation of a real person | Automatic block where detectable, and priority review of reports | Removal and account suspension |
| L3 Medium | Hate or harassment, other photos without consent, infringement | Human review | Warning and removal |
| L4 Low | Minor breaches, such as removing the AI label or rule-bending on limits | Report-triggered | Warning and correction required |
4. Reporting
Tell us if you see a breach of this policy. We keep the reporter's identity confidential, review each report on its own facts, and record malicious or false reports.
- Content or behaviour that breaks section 2.
- A photo of you, or of a minor, used here without consent.
- AI impersonation of you, or infringement of your rights.
5. Reporting Channels
You can reach us in these ways.
- Email: support@pslrating.me with the subject "Report: [L1-L4 or short topic]", for example "Report: minor in photo". Include the date, what happened and, if you have it, the report link.
- In the product: the "Report a problem" link under each AI preview opens an email to the same address.
- Urgent child-safety reports: use the same address and put "URGENT L1" in the subject; we watch for these first.
6. Response & Processing Timelines
We reply to confirm we have the report, then work through triage (L1-L4), review, decision, enforcement and notification.
| Violation type | Initial response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| L1 Critical | As soon as possible, within 24 hours | Within 48 hours |
| L2 High | Within 24 hours | Within 3 business days |
| L3 Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days |
| L4 Low | Within 5 business days | Within 14 business days |
If a case needs longer, we tell the reporter why.
7. Enforcement Actions
We choose the action by severity and history.
| Action | Measure | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Warning | Written notice to stop or correct | First minor breach |
| 2. Content removal and generation stopped | Content deleted where we hold it, previews refused | Confirmed L3 and L4 |
| 3. Account suspension | The account is suspended while we review | L2 or repeated breaches |
| 4. Permanent suspension | The account stays suspended for good | L1 or repeated L2 |
| 5. Report to authorities | We report and cooperate with investigations; CSAM is reported immediately | Criminal-level breaches |
A suspended account can still log in and see its account page, but rating, previews, purchases and account deletion are switched off, and the page tells you how to appeal. Credits of a suspended account are handled under our refund policy.
8. Appeals
If we refused a photo, a preview failed the safety check, or we took action on your account and you think it was wrong, you can appeal. Write to support@pslrating.me with the subject "Appeal" within 14 days of our notice and explain why. The case is reviewed again from the start: automated decisions are always re-checked by a person, and where possible by someone who was not involved in the original decision. We reply by email, usually within 10 business days. A refused or failed request never uses a credit.
9. Transparency & Policy Updates
We update this policy when the service or the rules change. We post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we show a notice on the site before they apply, unless the law or an urgent safety issue requires faster action. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
10. Contact Us
Questions, reports and appeals all go to support@pslrating.me. PSL Rating is run by an independent developer under the name "PSL Rating". See the contact page for more.
